The Bridge project
This project was about making bridges using a selected few materials such as sticks, string, and glue. Later it was then assessed in looks, aesthetics, and in the end, strength. My idea behind the bridge was to mainly construct the strongest bridge in the class, and later think of aesthetics. Most of the time was used in measurements and building the strong bridge, which was a tough task considering the construction properties of the bridge, heavily inspired by Truss bridges..
Breaking test footage
The whole class built bridges. And in the end, they were tested in strength. Though, this bridge astonished everyone, including myself as it was seemingly unbreakable…
It didn’t turn out to be the prettiest bridge, but it succeeded in its main objective, in being the strongest bridge, by a lot.
It withstood the entire bucket test (as the only bridge to do so) and later the teachers decided to test their own weight on the bridge, fully determined in breaking the bridge…
